This unsigned piece from Coro's 1940's golden era. During this time the "Bird of Paradise" and "Swooping Phoenix" motifs exploded in popularity where they frequently mixed primary colors like vibrant sapphire blue and ruby red stones on their stylized avian designs. The red, white and blue was a subtle nod to patriotic wartime colors. This was probably in a design line they produced for department stores.
