"A Milano • Borgonuovo 21" refers to a high-end, self-titled ready-to-wear collection by Giorgio Armani, launched in 1983 and named after the company's Milan headquarters address at 21 Via Borgonuovo. This line was the premier collection, featuring high-quality materials and representing the designer's most personal attention to design, and is often seen on vintage garments from the late 1990s and early 2000s.
This set is light and effortlessly chic. The silk set has a sheer, tan jacket with an organic vine woven in the fabric. The organic vine is mercerized and has a subtle shine to it. The matching silk skirt has an additional plain, silk lining sewn inside. A row of 6 buttons closes the front left side of the skirt, leaving a little slit remaining open. The jacket has a single button front.
